Wei Wang

Wei Wang is an experienced statistical programmer with a strong background in biostatistics and biochemistry. Currently serving as a Sr. Statistical Programmer II at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since November 2021, Wei previously held multiple positions at SDC (Statistics & Data Corporation) from March 2016 to November 2021, culminating in the role of Principal Statistical Programmer. Early career experience includes a biostatistical internship at CHI St. Luke's Health and postdoctoral positions at Baylor College of Medicine and Rockefeller University, focusing on cancer research and integrin function, respectively. Wei holds a Master's Degree in Biostatistics from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and a doctoral degree in Biochemistry from Louisiana State University.
