Wei Zhang

Wei Zhang is a Principal Scientist at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since July 2022, with prior experience as a Senior Scientist at 4:59 NewCo from October 2021 to April 2022, and as a Scientist II and Scientist I at Codiak BioSciences between March 2019 and October 2021. Wei's academic background includes serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School under Dr. Stephan Kissler from October 2016 to March 2019, and at Harvard University in Dr. Doug Melton's lab from October 2013 to October 2016, focusing on pancreatic beta cell proliferation under insulin resistance conditions.
