Derrick Dq Barton

Derrick Barton, aka DQ, has more than two decades of operational and senior leadership experience. Derrick retired at the rank of Colonel after 21 years in the United States Air Force. His military experience includes ~3,000 flight hours/2,100 combat hours, United States Air Force Weapon School Graduate, Evaluator / Master Combat Systems Operator, combat operations in Afghanistan, Iraq, Africa, and Syria. Additionally, Derrick has extensive management & leadership experience during combat operations and in high operations tempo in-garrison. He has held numerous positions as a Director of Operations, and Commander.

Derrick delivers leadership, organizational and program management experience to the commercial sector. His experience comes from supporting small, medium, and large business operations. Derrick has held significant roles as a Business Development Lead, Program Manager for multiple programs to include a $100M plus global program, and business sector Senior Director. Derrick holds multiple higher education degrees in management and operations.
