Ram Balasubramanian

Ram Balasubramanian has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ram currently serves as the Director of Finance at Vertex Ventures SE Asia & India since August 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Group Financial Planning and Analysis professional at an Indian Listed Company from June 2022 to August 2023. Ram also served as the Chief of Staff at Rainshine Entertainment from April 2020 to April 2022.

Before that, Ram held managerial positions at Star TV Network, where they worked as a Manager from April 2018 to April 2020, and as an Assistant Manager from September 2015 to March 2018. Ram also worked as an Assistant Manager at KPMG India from July 2012 to July 2015. Ram began their career as an Executive at Siemens from June 2011 to July 2012.

Prior to their corporate career, Ram worked as a Senior Executive at ITI Securities Ltd., where they conducted equity research and prepared financial models for the media and hospitality sector. Ram also traded stocks and made client presentations on stock ideas. Ram started their professional journey as an Articled Assistant at PKF SRIDHAR & SANTHANAM LLP, where they gained valuable experience from July 2006 to June 2010.

Ram Balasubramanian completed their Executive degree in Strategic Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow in 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Chartered Accountancy from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India between 2006 and 2011, specializing in Accounting and Business/Management.
