Amar Gadkari

Amar Gadkari is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and infrastructure management. Currently serving as the Vice President of Software Engineering at Vertex Inc. since April 2024, Amar previously held the position of Head of Software Engineering at a Stealth Data and AI Startup from January 2023 to April 2024, focusing on artificial intelligence and big data. Amar's notable tenure at Salesforce from November 2012 to December 2022 included roles as Vice President of Software Engineering, where significant contributions were made to cloud migration and the Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and as Senior Director of Infrastructure Engineering, enhancing customer migration processes. Prior experience at Microsoft included roles such as Principal SDET Lead for Office 365 and Senior Software Engineering Manager for Azure Storage, with early career roles in software engineering and programming. Amar holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Walchand College of Engineering and furthered education at Stanford University.
