Amber Cantrell

UX Researcher

Amber Cantrell is an accomplished education professional and UX researcher with a diverse background spanning over a decade. Experience includes serving as a REACH Teacher at the College of Charleston, where participation rates in college classes were improved for students with intellectual disabilities. In various roles, such as UX Researcher at Vertex Inc. and Fiserv, Amber conducted comprehensive research and collaborated with stakeholders to enhance user experience for enterprise-level software. Teaching experience encompasses instructing Women's and Gender Studies courses at Rutgers University and serving as a Special Education Teacher at Mastery Charter Schools, where significant progress was achieved for students with disabilities. Amber holds a Master of Arts in Women's Studies from Rutgers University, a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies from the College of Charleston, and completed a User Experience Design Immersive Certificate Program at General Assembly. Additionally, Amber earned a Dual Teaching Certification in Special Education and Teaching from the University of Pennsylvania.
