Chris Ingle

Chris Ingle is an experienced leader in market and competitive intelligence, currently serving as Director at Vertex Inc. since June 2022, where responsibilities include leading research and analysis on macroeconomic conditions and strategy development with the executive team. Previously, Chris held significant roles at IDC, including UK CIO and Technology Buyer Lead and Head of Client Strategy and Transformation for Europe, where Chris developed strategies for engaging technology buyers and supported clients in transitioning to new business models. Earlier experience at Sage involved directing market and competitive intelligence functions, while a long tenure at IDC included roles as Vice President of Consulting and Consulting Director, focusing on delivering strategic insights and managing high-performance consulting teams. Chris holds an MBA from Cass Business School and a BA in Philosophy from UCL.
