Vanessa Zimmermann

Vanessa Zimmermann has worked at three different companies in a variety of roles. Vanessa started their career at MTU Aero Engines in 2012, where they completed a Bachelor Thesis in CIP and worked as part of the CIP Team during a practical semester. In these roles, Vanessa demonstrated expertise in Kaizen and Lean Management and led multiple projects, as well as conducted training sessions for staff.

In 2014, Vanessa joined SYNCREON as a Junior Project Manager in the Auto EMEA division. Vanessa worked closely with the senior project manager, preparing quotes and identifying opportunities for improvement. Notably, they spearheaded the DAIMLER Consolidation Center project in Speyer, Germany. Vanessa then moved on to become a Project Manager, responsible for leading teams throughout the launch of new businesses and implementing new project strategies. Vanessa also served as the department lead deputy and played a role in improving collaboration between departments.

Most recently, Vanessa worked at Verti, starting in 2019 as an IT Project Manager. In this role, they managed projects and ensured they were delivered on time and within budget. Vanessa then transitioned to the position of Head of Software Development in December 2021.

Throughout their career, Vanessa has demonstrated strong project management skills and a commitment to delivering successful outcomes.

Vanessa Zimmermann completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in International Industrial Engineering from Hochschule Emden/Leer in Emden, from 2009 to 2013. In 2012, they also had the opportunity to spend a semester abroad at Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, studying International Industrial Entrepreneurship.
