Heinrich Papenfus has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Heinrich started their career as a Wine Shop Manager at Uitkyk wine estate from November 2002 to April 2007. In August 2018, Heinrich joined Vertice MedTech, where they began their journey as a Territory Manager. In this role, they demonstrated technical selling skills and product knowledge, provided technical and clinical support, implemented marketing plans, managed territories and stock levels, and sold Terumo cardiology products and Abbott diagnostic products. Heinrich also upskilled doctors and clinical technicians on OCT and FFR, researched and reported on competitor tactics, and exceeded sales targets. Additionally, they took on the responsibility of training staff on new robotic technologies called Robocath and provided case reports and feedback to the development team. In 2019, they received the Great Achiever award and achieved excellent sales results.

Heinrich Papenfus attended Hoerskool Centurion from 1996 to 2000, where they completed their high school education. In 2001 and 2002, they studied Tourism and Marketing at Durbanville College.
