Ashwin Chandrasekaran

Ashwin Chandrasekaran has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Ashwin is currently the Head of Technology, Digital Engineering & Data Platforms at Verticurl, a WPP Company, where they have been since January 2024. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Engineering at the same company, starting in September 2023.

In 2023, Ashwin founded Dhiti Tech Solutions, a company through which they provide tech strategy support, consulting engagements, and training to startups, individuals, and corporations. Ashwin continues to offer their services through this company between their full-time jobs.

Ashwin also worked as a Tech Advisor/Advisory CTO at tRetail Labs from June 2023 to November 2023. Before that, they were the Head of Enterprise Engineering, APAC at Schroders from April 2022 to June 2023.

In their earlier career, Ashwin held the position of Head of Data Engineering at UOB from April 2020 to April 2022. Ashwin also worked at DFS Group Limited, where they served as a Senior Engineering Manager. Ashwin held two roles at DFS: Senior Engineering Manager, B2B Platforms from March 2019 to April 2020, and Senior Engineering Manager, Head of DevOps & API Platform from March 2017 to February 2019.

Prior to that, Ashwin worked at Amadeus IT Group from 2008 to 2017, where they held various roles such as Senior Solutions Architect/Engineering Manager - Airport IT from April 2015 to March 2017. At Amadeus, they led teams, rolled out operational platforms to major airports in Asia, and implemented productivity-enhancing measures.

Ashwin began their career as an Applications Engineer at Oracle India Private Ltd from January 2006 to December 2007. Ashwin then worked as a Software Engineer at Infosys Technologies Ltd from July 2003 to December 2005.

Ashwin Chandrasekaran has an educational background that includes a range of degrees and certifications. Ashwin holds a LEAD Executive Program in Organizational Leadership from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management from Quantic School of Business and Technology. Ashwin also has a Master's degree in Software Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, both from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
