Jacob Kotzubei

Jacob Kotzubei is a partner for Platinum Equity, a private equity firm. He serves as a director or manager of a number of Platinum Equity’s portfolio companies. Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2002, Jacob worked for Goldman Sachs’ Investment Banking Division in New York City for four and half years. Previously, he was an attorney at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York City, specializing in mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Kotzubei serves on the board of directors of Ryerson Holding Corporation (NYSE: RYI) since 2010 and is a former director of Key Energy Services, Inc. (NYSE: KEG) (2016 to February 2022) and Verra Mobility Corporation (NASDAQ: VRRM) (2018 to 2021). Kotzubei received a bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University and holds a Juris Doctor from Columbia University School of Law, where he was elected a member of the Columbia Law Review. He was selected to serve on the board due to his experience in executive management oversight, private equity, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and other transactional matters.
