Peter Champagne

Peter Champagne has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Peter currently holds the position of Vice President, Rack Power Distribution Line of Business at Vertiv, a role they have held since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Global Director, Offering Management, Rack Power Distribution at Vertiv from October 2020 to November 2022.

Before joining Vertiv, Peter worked at Schneider Electric from 2011 to 2020. During this time, they held various roles including Sales Excellence Director, Field Services NAM and Director of Product Management, Large 3 Phase UPS and PDUs. In these positions, they played a key role in transforming sales strategies, driving impressive revenue growth, and successfully launching strategic offers.

Peter also gained valuable experience at American Power Conversion as a Product Line Manager from 2004 to 2011, where they led product expansion initiatives and implemented design thinking methodologies. Prior to that, they worked at Air Products and Chemicals as a Marketing/Business Development Analyst, and at Teradyne as a Mechanical/Thermal Engineer. Peter began their career as an Applications Engineer at Wakefield-Vette in 1994.

Peter Champagne holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus in Marketing from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management, which they earned from 2001 to 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Heat Transfer from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1995 to 1997. Peter also completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering at the same institution from 1990 to 1994.
