Tyler Nielsen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in human resources and consulting. Tyler started their career as a Driver/Tour Guide at Princess Cruises in 2008. Tyler then worked as a Recruiting Project Coordinator at Unipro Consulting before transitioning to the role of Human Resources Generalist at American Preparatory Schools. In 2011, they joined Utah State University as a Research Assistant before becoming the VP of Graduate Students. In 2012, they interned at Honeywell as a Human Resources Intern and later joined the company as an HR Generalist. Tyler then moved to global roles at Honeywell, serving as a Senior Compensation, Benefits, and Business Development Analyst, HR Predictive Analytics Specialist, and EMEA HR Services Operations Manager, among others. In 2020, they joined L3Harris Technologies as the Global Human Resources Director before joining Verra Mobility as the Human Resources Director in 2021. Currently, they hold multiple leadership positions at Vertiv, including Vice President of HR Services and Transformation, Vice President of Talent Management - Interim, and Vice President of Compensation and Benefits and HR Transformation.

Tyler Nielsen holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management with a concentration in Finance from Brigham Young University - Idaho, which they completed between 2002 and 2008. Tyler pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science in Human Resources (MSHR) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Utah State University - Jon M. Huntsman School of Business, completing this degree between 2011 and 2013. Tyler has also acquired additional certifications in KCS (Knowledge Centered Service) from The KCS Academy, a PHR (Professional in Human Resources) certification from the HR Certification Institute, and a Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) certification from Honeywell.
