Veselin Pizurica

Veselin Pizurica is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in AI/ML services and engineering management. Currently serving as the Senior Director & Chief Architect of AI/ML Services at Vertiv since August 2025, Veselin previously held various roles at Waylay from January 2014 to August 2025, including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer. Prior experience includes R&D Manager at Ontoforce, VP Engineering at Awingu and Dacentec, and multiple engineering and management positions at Alcatel-Lucent over a span of more than a decade. Veselin began a research career as a PhD student at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, publishing 15 scientific papers focused on digital image processing, following a research assistant position at the University of Novi Sad. Educational qualifications include a Diploma Degree in Electrical Engineering from Univerzitet u Novom Sadu and advanced studies at Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
