Escely Marr

Escely Marr is an experienced educational professional currently serving as Program Manager for College Counseling, Advising, and Transfer Services at Verto Education since November 2021. In this role, Escely develops advising models and programming to support students before, during, and after study abroad, while also researching assessment tools to enhance student understanding of their learner profiles and career interests. Previous positions include Assistant Director of College Counseling, where Escely managed a large caseload of students, developed departmental programming, and facilitated essential pre-departure events. Earlier experience includes counseling at Clarkston Community Schools and Canyon Crest Academy, providing comprehensive support for students from diverse backgrounds, developing transition curricula, and implementing evidence-based counseling practices. Escely holds a Master of Arts in Counselor Education/School Counseling from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Central Michigan University.
