Anna Kaneko Millar, CPA, CMA has had a diverse work experience in the financial and accounting field. Anna Kaneko is currently working as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Verto Inc. since March 2019. Previously, they held various roles at Plan International Canada from 2012 to 2019, including Director of Grants Budgeting and Compliance, Senior Manager of Business Development Budgeting and Compliance, and Senior Manager of Finance. Before that, they worked at Chubb Insurance as a Senior Financial Accountant and Senior Financial Analyst from 2007 to 2012. Anna Kaneko also gained experience as a Financial Analyst in Client Financial Management at Accenture from 2006 to 2007.

Anna Kaneko Millar, CPA, CMA, began their education at Armand Hammer United World College from 2000 to 2002, where they obtained an International Baccalaureate Diploma. Anna Kaneko then attended the University of Toronto from 2002 to 2006, earning a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Marketing, Organizational Behaviour, and Accounting.

In terms of additional certifications, Anna received the Chartered Professional Accountant, CMA designation from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario in 2009. Anna Kaneko also completed the Global Reporting Initiative Certified Training Program, receiving a certificate from the Global Reporting Initiative in April 2014.
