Errol McKinon

Errol McKinon is a seasoned architectural professional with extensive experience in the design and construction of sustainable living spaces. As the Head of the Technical Department at Verto Homes since August 2021, McKinon focuses on creating smart homes that achieve zero carbon emissions. Prior roles include Senior Chartered Architectural Technologist at Design Development Ltd and NARRACOTTS ARCHITECTS LIMITED, as well as Design Manager at Watch Tower, where McKinon oversaw a large production facility project. Additional experience includes managing architectural projects at Oxford Architects LLP and Savills, and contributing to academia as a lecturer and technical assessor at Oxford Brookes University. McKinon holds a National Diploma in Architecture from Cape Technikon and has a robust background in architectural technology and project management.
