Martin Welch

Martin Welch has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Martin started their career in 2000 as an Accountant at Lancaster plc. Later, they worked as an IT Specialist at Jardine Motors Group trading as Lancaster and then as an IT Consultant at Kerridge Computer Company. In 2004, they joined Reg Vardy plc as a Systems Accountant and then moved to Stratstone in 2006, where they served as a Regional Accountant. In 2007, they became the Divisional Financial Controller at Sytner Group. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a Director of Finance at North East Truck and Van Ltd. Martin's most recent position was as the Divisional Finance Director at Vertu Motors plc.

Martin Welch earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Accounting from Northumbria University, where they attended from 1997 to 2000. Martin obtained a National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from NEBOSH in November 2013 and an Associate Chartered Management Accountant certification from CIMA in May 2005.
