Dan Olson has extensive work experience in the mortgage industry. Dan started their career as a Trading Sales Associate at GMAC-RFC in 2001, where they worked until 2006. Dan then moved on to GMAC ResCap, where they served as a Lock Desk Manager and was responsible for asset pricing and overseeing operational aspects of a large pipeline. After GMAC ResCap, Dan worked at Homecomings Financial as a Lock Desk Manager, overseeing a team of Rate Lock Coordinators. Dan then joined GMAC ResCap again as a Business Technology Analyst before transitioning to Wilary Winn LLC as a Data Analyst, where they assisted with high-volume business and performed cash flow modeling. Dan further expanded their skills and knowledge at Green Tree Servicing as a Business Analyst, where they collaborated with programmers to ensure requirements were understood and addressed promptly. Most recently, Dan has been working at Two Harbors Investment Corp. as a VP of Mortgage Operations and is currently serving as the Vice President of Operations at Verus Mortgage Capital.
Dan Olson began their education at Minnehaha Academy, where they earned a Diploma in General studies from 1982 to 1988. Dan then went on to pursue further education at North Park University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Finance from 1988 to 1992.
