Dan Lazarek

Dan Lazarek is an accomplished entrepreneur and investor with a diverse background in launching and managing successful companies. Currently serving as the CEO of VERVE since January 2022, Dan leads a predictive analytics firm focused on private passenger auto customers. With extensive experience as an entrepreneur and owner/operator of various early to mid-stage companies, including Cleriovision and Nanoramic Labs, Dan also co-founded the Simon Venture Fund, enhancing entrepreneurial opportunities for alumni of the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester. Additionally, Dan founded The Lazarek Family Foundation, supporting educational initiatives through a scholarship program. Past roles include CFO of Access Holdco Management, where Dan scaled the company to $400M in revenue, and executive leadership positions at Citizens Communications and Worldport Communications. Dan holds an MBA from the University of Rochester and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Union College.
