Jamisha Shaw West

Jamisha Shaw West is a seasoned professional in the underwriting operations field, currently serving as the Head of Underwriting Operations at VERVE since January 2022. Prior to this role, Jamisha worked as an Independent Consultant specializing in underwriting operations from March 2020 to January 2022. Jamisha's experience includes significant positions at Embark General, where responsibilities included serving as AVP and Director of Underwriting Operations from June 2010 to February 2020, along with earlier experience at 21st Century Insurance as an Underwriting Assistant and Call Center Team Lead from September 2005 to June 2010. Jamisha holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Georgia State University.
