Lyndia McGauhey has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Lyndia began their career in 2009 as a Student Assistant at Norlin Library, University of Colorado at Boulder. Lyndia then worked as a Bookkeeper and Buyer in the Dancer Department at Irey Theater, CU Boulder from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, they became a Manager at The Steaming Bean, where they provided leadership, training, and problem-solving for the staff.

In 2012, Lyndia transitioned to the education sector and worked as a Dance Instructor at Telluride Middle School. During their time there, they introduced a unique approach to physical education and provided rigorous training to 7th and 8th-grade students.

Lyndia further enhanced their choreography skills by working as a Choreographer at Sheridan Arts Foundation from 2003 to 2014 and Telluride Theatre from 2013 to 2014. Lyndia created original and inventive movement for musical theater productions, coached actors in stage presence, and provided training opportunities to company members.

Lyndia'smost recent position was at Verve Coffee Roasters, where they held multiple roles since joining in 2014. Starting as a Cafe Manager, they moved up to become a Regional Manager from 2015 to 2018, overseeing multiple locations. From 2018 onwards, they worked as a Senior Regional Manager and eventually became the Head of Training and Development in January 2020.
