Caroline Reiss is an associate principal scientist, RNA technology at Verve Therapeutics, with expertise in production and characterization of RNA molecules. Prior to the joining Verve, Dr. Reiss worked as a development scientist at Casebia Therapeutics, manufacturing mRNA for gene editing therapeutics. She received her B.S. in biochemistry from Trinity College and her Ph.D. in molecular biophysics and biochemistry from Yale University, where she published three X-ray crystal structures of RNA aptamers in complex with their native small-molecule ligands.
