Peixin Zhu

Peixin Zhu currently serves as an Affiliate Member at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard and at the National Institute of Genetics in Japan, while also holding the position of Vice President of Editing Discovery at Verve Therapeutics since March 2024. Zhu has a robust history in the biotechnology field, having previously worked as Vice President of R&D at Tevard Biosciences, where contributions included advancements in RNA technologies and CRISPR/Cas applications. Prior experiences also include leading discovery research at LogicBio Therapeutics and serving as Vice President at Exegenesis Bio Inc., focusing on AAV gene therapy and computational biology. Zhu began an academic career with a Doctor of Philosophy in Neuropharmacology from Heidelberg University and has held various affiliate positions since 2018. In addition, Zhu is an angel investor at HyperGuap, supporting American startups.
