Samantha Morales

Samantha is a senior research associate, next generation sequencing at Verve. Prior to joining Verve, Samantha worked as a research associate at Indigo Ag as part of a team to isolate, identify, and harness the power of microbes for improved agriculture sustainability. Samantha has also worked on projects targeting transcriptional analysis of kidney transplant rejection during her tenure at the Massachusetts General Hospital Immunopathology Core Lab, where she continued to build skills in automation and instrumentation. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in molecular & cell biology from the University of Connecticut, where after graduating she worked as a research technician at the MARS NGS core, developing expertise in troubleshooting and automating library prep for sequencing.
