Maxime van de Gevel is an experienced researcher specializing in social vitality and safety, with a focus on discrimination, racism, and diversity. Currently serving as a researcher at Verwey-Jonker Instituut since September 2022, alongside a role at Kennisplatform Inclusief Samenleven, Maxime has previously worked as a project employee and intern, concentrating on equal opportunities and inclusive labor markets. Maxime also gained research experience as a research assistant at Universiteit Utrecht, contributing to a project on prosocial behavior towards refugees. Academically, Maxime holds a Master of Science in Migration, Ethnic Relations and Multiculturalism, a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Social Science, and a minor in Conflict Studies, all obtained from Utrecht University.
