Andrew Johnson

Andrew Johnson is the VP of Infrastructure at Very Good Security. Andrew has over 15 years of experience in the tech industry, and has held senior positions at companies such as Twitter, Yahoo!, and Google.

Johnson started their career at Google in 2004, where they spent 7 years as a Sr Site Reliability Manager. In this role, they were responsible for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of Google's data centers. Andrew was successful in this role, and was promoted to Sr Director of Service Engineering for Display Ads at Yahoo! in 2011.

At Yahoo!, Johnson continued to excel in their role, driving efficiency improvements in data center operations. Andrew successfully prevented any service-impacting incidents from occurring, and was promoted to VP of Cloud Infrastructure and Data Centers at [24]7 in 2016.

In their current role at [24]7, Johnson leads a team of 100+ engineers responsible for building and running the company's global cloud platform. Andrew has successfully improved cost by 30% and uptime by 45%.

Andrew Johnson attended Tennessee Technological University, where they earned a B.S.E.E. in Electrical Engineering.
