Wes Wood has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2010 when they were selected to join the US Army as a Sniper Team Member. During their time in the Army, they were promoted to Sniper Team Leader and Sniper Section Leader. In 2015, they began working as a part-time Accountant for Premier Funeral Management Group, and also took on the role of Workforce Development Manager for Conexus Indiana. In 2017, they founded INvets, a veteran service organization and resource for Indiana employers, and served as its Executive Director. In 2021, they joined The Wood Team of Keller Williams Realty as a Real Estate Agent and Real Estate Marketing Consultant. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Veryable as Director of Strategic Growth, SE and Workforce Partnerships Lead, SE, where they work with community thought leaders to more efficiently distribute their local workforce via Veryable's on-demand labor marketplace.

Wes Wood obtained a Bachelor of Science in Finance, General from the University of Southern Indiana between 2007 and 2010. Wes then received a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business between 2015 and 2017.
