Mate Varkonyi

Mate Varkonyi is a seasoned entrepreneur and business development expert with extensive experience in technology and tourism sectors. As Co-Founder of VeryCreatives since December 2010, Mate and a team of developers create innovative SaaS applications aimed at empowering clients with initial funding. Additionally, Mate co-founded Big Dwarf, contributing to its operations from September 2017 to November 2023. Previous roles include serving as Business Development Advisor for Pocket Guide, a mobile application that offers location-based audio tours, and Gravity R&D, along with a consultancy position at ITD Hungary focused on international business development in logistics and creative industries. Mate holds a BS in Tourism and Hotel Management from Budapest Business School, earned between 2001 and 2005.
