William von Brendel, MBA, MIM has a long and successful career in international sales and business development. William began their career in 1990 as Director of International Sales at Smith & Nephew. In 1994, they became Director of International Marketing & Sales at Cabot Medical, where they successfully achieved a sales/profit turnaround of the international division. In 1996, they joined LivaNova - CarboMedics as Vice President of International, where they grew international revenue, profit and share to record levels. William then moved to TheraCardia, Inc. in 1998 as Vice President of Marketing & Sales, where they created and spearheaded the worldwide commercialization initiative. In 2000, they became Principal Consultant at GLOBAL MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY BUSINESS CONSULTING, providing sales and marketing consulting to start-up CEOs. In 2004, they joined Suneva - Artes Medical as Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing, preparing a breakthrough cosmetic injectable product for launch and the company's IPO. In 2007, they became Vice President & General Manager at Sperian Hearing Protection, leading global operations and increasing sales from $130 to $150 million and profit from $52 to $60 million. In 2010, they joined Nextremity Solutions, Inc. as Executive Vice President of International Sales, developing the company's strategic plan and launching three best-in-class implant lines worldwide. In 2015, they moved to Teleflex - Pyng Medical as Senior Vice President of Sales for Global Military Business & US, Europe, LAT-AM Markets, developing and executing a sales plan that generated 100% sales growth to over $10 million with 40% increase in profit margins. William currently serves as Vice President of International Business at Vesalio, managing international sales, business development and commercial strategy.

William von Brendel has a diverse educational background. William attended Valparaiso High School from 1972 to 1976 and earned a High School degree in Biology, General. From 1976 to 1980, they attended Indiana University Bloomington and earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. William then attended Thunderbird School of Global Management from 1980 to 1981 and earned an MBA in International Marketing. Finally, they attended the University of Oxford in 1981 and earned both a Master International Management and a MIM in International Marketing.
