Evan Barnes

Evan Barnes has been working in the field of photonics since 2021, when they began as a Photonics Research Engineer at Vescent Photonics. Prior to this, they were a Labratory TA and Research Assistant at Appalachian State University from 2019 to 2021, and an Electrical Team Member at Team Sunergy - App State Solar Vehicle Team from 2017 to 2019.

Evan Barnes attended Appalachian State University from 2016 to 2021, earning a Minor in Mathematics in 2020, a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc in Applied Physics in 2020, and a Master's degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics in 2021.
