Doug DeBold has an extensive work experience in the technology industry. In 2012, they founded and served as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Perk Health. At Perk Health, they used psychological typing, behavioral models, and machine learning to develop a virtual personal fitness coach aimed at helping companies improve employee health and reduce healthcare costs. This solution included a private social network and health incentive system on a web and mobile app. Doug continued to hold this role until November 2021. In November 2020, they joined Vessel Partners as the Chief Technology Officer.
Doug DeBold attended Middlebury College from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Mathematics.
