Steve Mahoney

Steve Mahoney has over 20 years of biotechnology and healthcare industry experience. He is currently the Chief Financial and Operating Officer of Magenta Therapeutics, Inc. focused on improving stem cell transplantation across a variety of diseases areas, including hematology-oncology. He was previously President and Chief Operating Officer of Kiniksa Pharmaceuticals which acquired/in-licensed multiple product candidates at different stages of clinical development for further advancement. Prior to this role, Steve was the Chief Commercial Officer of Synageva Biopharma prior to its acquisition by Alexion Pharmaceuticals and previously held various roles over a 10-year tenure at Genzyme Corporation. Steve holds an MBA and JD from Boston College and a BA from Colorado College.
