Michael Monson

Michael Monson is an experienced healthcare executive currently serving as an Advisory Board Member for Vesta Healthcare since November 2020 and as Chairperson of the Board for the Long-Term Quality Alliance since January 2015. Monson holds the position of Chief Executive Officer and President at Altarum, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving health for underrepresented populations, from June 2021 to June 2025. Previously, Monson was the CEO of Centene Corporation's Social Health Bridge Trust from April 2017 to August 2020 and also held roles as Senior Vice President for Medicaid & Complex Care and Long Term Services & Supports. Prior to that, Monson served as Chief Administrative Officer and Vice President of Residential Services at Village Care of New York. Monson obtained a Master of Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Pennsylvania.
