Tanya Snodgrass

Tanya Snodgrass has worked in the medical billing and coding field since 2004. Tanya began their career as a Patient Account Rep at Advanced Healthcare. In 2009, they moved to Missouri Highlands Healthcare as a Medical Biller/Coder, where they were responsible for reading patient charts and extracting diagnosis codes to bill to insurance companies. In 2013, they were promoted to Medical Coder/Biller and managed 8 employees on claims creation and billing processes. In 2020, they were unemployed before beginning their current role as a Medical Billing Specialist at Vesta Healthcare in 2021. In this role, they work closely with the Finance and Operations Departments to create an automated billing workflow and analyze billing data to ensure members' insurance and demographics are updated. Tanya also helps with reporting for Board Meetings.

Tanya Snodgrass received their High School Diploma from the Greenville R-2 School District in 1990. Tanya then attended Three Rivers Community College from 1995 to 1997, earning an Associate Degree of Applied Science in Medical Office Management/Administration. In 2014, they obtained a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification from AAPC. Finally, in 2019, they obtained a Certified Professional Biller (CPB) certification from AAPC.
