Amanda Straub, SPHR

Amanda Straub, SPHR, has over 20 years of work experience, starting with their role as a Team Leader at Target from 1996 to 2014. At Vesta, Inc, they took on various HR positions, including HR Associate from 2014 to 2016, and HR Manager from 2016 to 2017. In their most recent role as Director of Human Resources, their responsibilities included providing guidance on human capital, overseeing the recruitment process, and ensuring staff receives ongoing training.

Amanda Straub, SPHR, holds a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus, obtained in 2014. Amanda also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the same institution in 2006. Amanda Straub has additional certifications including Leadership Development for Human Resources Professionals from the Center for Creative Leadership obtained in June 2018, and Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) and Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) certifications from HRCI obtained in February 2021.
