Emre Aytekin

Emre Aytekin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in wind energy and engineering project management. Currently serving as the Lead Siting Solutions Engineer at Vestas since October 2015, Emre provides expert guidance on turbine siting and optimization while leading a team for wind resource analyses and energy production predictions. Previous roles include the Interim Technical Bid Manager at Vestas, where responsibilities involved coordinating technical tender materials and initiating product customization, and Wind & Site Engineer, focusing on site characteristics and turbine layout optimization. Prior to Vestas, Emre worked as a Project Engineer for Site Assessment at Enercon GmbH and a Product Development Engineer at Ford Motor Company. Emre began a career at Yaman Enerji as a Project Engineer focused on feasibility analyses for renewable energy projects. Emre holds a Master's degree in Engineering Management from Istanbul Technical University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi.
