John Foster, Jr., BSEE, is a seasoned electrical field engineer with extensive experience in managing and executing large-scale utility projects in both wind and solar energy sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Electrical Field Engineer at Vestas since June 2021, John oversees the development and inspection of Lightning Protection System II upgrades across multiple significant wind farm projects. Prior to this role, John held senior engineering positions at Blattner and MasTec, focusing on utility-scale solar PV and wind projects. John’s technical expertise encompasses a wide array of electrical systems, including substations, relay protection systems, and solar/wind energy technologies. John's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and various other relevant qualifications in electrical systems technology from prestigious institutions.
