Manuel Fernandes

Manuel Fernandes is an experienced engineering and project management professional with a strong background in new product introduction and production management in the wind energy sector. Currently serving as an Industrialization Lead Senior Specialist at Vestas since August 2019, Manuel is responsible for project management, engineering change management, and design validation. Prior to this role, experience includes a position as an Engineering Consultant for Airbus at ALTEN Technology, new product introduction management at MHI Vestas Offshore Wind, and senior project management at Senvion. Manuel's early career involved production management at ENERCON and CAD design engineering at CEiiA. Educational qualifications include a license degree and bachelor's diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto, alongside an English diploma from the University of Cambridge.
