Marek Zamecnik

Marek Zamecnik has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Marek is currently the CEO & Co-Founder of VESTBERRY, a position they have held since August 2018. Prior to that, Marek was a Partner & Co-Founder at 0100 Ventures since March 2016. Marek also serves on the Advisory Board of Nadácia Pontis/ Pontis Foundation since June 2019. Marek has been involved in the strategy of 0100 Conferences (PE & VC Platform) since March 2016. Marek was a Chapter Director at Startup Grind from June 2015 to May 2019. Marek also co-founded RubixLab in March 2015, and worked as the Head of Swiss at Private Equity Insights Ltd from November 2013 to October 2014. Marek was a Venture Development Manager at Nova Founders from August 2013 to August 2014, and gained experience through an internship in Sales & Marketing at Nike in 2012.

Marek Zamecnik has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in International Business and Management from The University of Manchester. Marek also holds another Master of Science (MSc) degree in PIM from Copenhagen Business School. Marek has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Hons. degree in International Business Management from Oxford Brookes University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Hons. degree in ERASMUS from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL. Additionally, they obtained a High School Diploma from Salina South High School in 2008 and completed their Maturita in Natural Sciences from Gymnazium Metodova in 2009.
