Gary J. Meyn, LFACHE

Gary J. Meyn, LFACHE has a long and varied career in the healthcare industry. Gary J. began their career in 1992 as the Founder, President, and Owner of Medical Assessment Services, Inc., a multi-specialty physician network providing Independent Medical Evaluations, Designated Doctor Evaluations, Impairment Ratings, and File/Peer Reviews for the Texas Workers' Compensation Commission, Insurance Carriers, and self-insured employers. In 1996, they took on the role of Practice Administrator for Independent Medical Associates, P.A., a multi-specialty physicians practice. Gary J. provided strategic planning, startup management, and daily operational leadership for the practice, and was able to reach the break-even point at 3 months into the start-up, surpassing industry standards. In 2002, they became an Investor in CDOT Enterprises, LLC/DBA - Accent Borders & Resurfacing, a start-up business that applied and installed decorative concrete landscape borders and decorative concrete resurfacing. From 2011 to 2014, they served as the ACHE Regent for Texas Central & South, attending ACHE National and District meetings bi-annually in Chicago and teleconferencing for various other requirements throughout the year. In 2012, they took on the role of Senior Director, 5.01(a) Physician Services for Hill Country Memorial Hospital, managing operations and growth of a multi-specialty, hospital-based physicians group. In 2013, they began their own consulting business, Gary J. Meyn, FACHE Consulting, providing specific deliverables to clients in the healthcare industry. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as the Executive Director of Operations in the Pharmaceutical Industry, helping to build a patient call center that is now a leader in the industry. Most recently, in 2020, they became a Senior Business Broker for Vested Business Brokers.

Gary J. Meyn, LFACHE is a graduate of Webster University, where they earned a Master of Arts in Health Services Management. Gary J. also attended Oyster Bay High School and St. Philip's College, where they earned an Associates in Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from High Point University. Gary J. is also Board Certified in Healthcare Management as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
