Saskia Bosma is a highly experienced data scientist and machine learning expert with a rich background in both academic and industry settings. Currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at Vestiaire Collective since April 2019, Saskia has led projects including the development of a salient object detection model and various product recommendation systems. Prior roles at ONEPOINT included significant contributions to machine learning and analysis for major companies such as Société Générale and Orange France. Previously, as an R&D Engineer at Accelerators and Cryogenic Systems, and during a PhD at Universität Zürich, Saskia developed advanced techniques in electromagnetism simulations and superconductivity research. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Zurich, an engineering diploma from CentraleSupélec, and a Master’s degree in Condensed Matter Physics from Paris-Sud University.
