Maliz Beams

Maliz Beams is currently an advisor at Vestigo Ventures. Prior to that, they were the counselor of the U.S. Department of State and the Chief Executive Officer of Voya Financial Retirement Solutions.

Maliz Beams has had a long and successful career in the financial industry. Maliz began their career at the U.S. Department of State, where they served as the chairperson of the FNZ Trust Company. Maliz then moved to Voya Financial, where they helped lead the company's spinoff from ING and turned around 12 businesses that accounted for two-thirds of Voya's operating earnings. The transformation achieved one of the two largest IPO's on the New York Stock Exchange in 2013, creating a market cap of over $10 billion and making Voya a Fortune 500 company.

Maliz Beams has a MBA from Columbia Business School in Marketing and Finance and a CSS from Harvard University in Strategic Planning. Maliz also has a BA in English from Boston College.
