Steven van Geuns has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Steven served as the CIO at Vesting Finance since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Vesting Finance as a Transaction Manager from November 2020 to December 2022, where they were responsible for implementing and optimizing asset management servicing contracts. Before that, they held the position of Programme Manager - Change at Vesting Finance from November 2016 to October 2020, overseeing various financial servicing portfolios.

Prior to their time at Vesting Finance, Steven worked at Royal Bank of Scotland, where they held multiple roles. From July 2014 to July 2016, they served as a Business Manager - Services NL, providing support to the COO and managing risk and control. From May 2011 to June 2014, they worked as the Head of Change Delivery - EMEA Services, responsible for implementing change initiatives within the EMEA region. Additionally, from April 2008 to April 2011, they served as a Senior Change Manager - Business Services, managing various projects related to the separation from ABN AMRO.

Steven's career began at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., where they held various roles and ultimately became a Programme Manager - IT Group Functions. Steven worked at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. from November 1997 to April 2008.

Steven van Geuns obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, graduating in 1997. Prior to that, they attended Coornhert Gymnasium Gouda from 1984 to 1991 for their high school education. In addition to their formal education, Steven has obtained several certifications including Professional Scrum Product Owner I from Scrum.org in November 2021, AgilePM Foundation from APMG International in November 2015, Prince Practitioner from APMG-International in January 2013, and Prince Foundation from APMG-International in December 2012.
