Abhishek Chakraborty

Abhishek Chakraborty is an experienced professional in the metallurgical engineering field, currently serving as Product Manager for VISO in North Asia and Simulation Manager for South Asia at Vesuvius GmbH since December 2018. Abhishek is part of a global solutions team focused on product design and selection for major steel producers in South Asia and provides CFD expertise and application support. Prior to Vesuvius, Abhishek held various roles at Tata Steel from December 2013 to October 2018, including Data Scientist, Senior Manager in Total Quality Management, and Principal Researcher, where responsibilities involved technology innovation and troubleshooting in steel making and continuous casting operations. Abhishek began their career at Essar Steel India Limited as Deputy Manager in Application Engineering and R&D from December 2010 to November 2013. Abhishek holds a Master's degree in Metallurgical Engineering from McGill University and a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Jadavpur University.
