Vipin Trehan

Vipin Trehan serves as Vice President of Group Procurement at Vesuvius since March 2022. Previously, as Chief Procurement Officer at LIBERTY Steel Group, Vipin led a global procurement organization with a budget of $9 billion, achieving over $100 million in savings through more than 200 initiatives. At Tata Steel from 2013 to 2019, Vipin transformed procurement across multiple regions and delivered substantial EBITDA savings. Vipin also held various positions at ArcelorMittal from 2001 to 2012, including General Manager for Corporate Excellence, and has extensive experience in sales and marketing roles. Vipin's educational background includes a General Management degree from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Technology in Mining from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines).
