Zk Alimbay

ZK Alimbay has extensive work experience, starting as a Trainee Lawyer at Macleod Dixon LLP in 1998. They then worked as a Corporate Counsel at ABB from 2000 to 2003. From 2004 to 2009, they served as a Commercial Counsel at Schlumberger. They later held various roles at Schlumberger, including Head of Legal and Compliance for the United Kingdom and Northern Europe from 2011 to 2015, and Assistant General Counsel for Europe and Africa from 2011 to 2016. Following that, ZK Alimbay joined QatarEnergy as the Group Associate General Counsel, Governance, and Compliance - Chief Compliance Officer, where they built a world-class Integrity program. They then served as the Director at Comhla Intelligent Compliance, focusing on intelligent compliance solutions. Currently, ZK Alimbay is the Global Compliance Director (Interim) at Vesuvius, a global leader in molten metal flow engineering.

ZK Alimbay has a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the Kazakh State Institute of Law. They also have a Post-Graduate Diploma in Law (CPE/GDL) from BPP Law School and an LL.M. in White Collar Crime from Columbia Law School. Additionally, ZK Alimbay is certified as an Attorney-at-Law in New York and as a Solicitor in England & Wales.
