George J (GJ) Walley, MBA

GJ Walley, MBA has a long and varied work experience in the healthcare industry. In 1996, they began their career with AmerisourceBergen as the Sales Director for Medical Devices, HME, and Biologics. George J (GJ) was responsible for the growth of a $2.3B Medical Device/Biologics distribution division and the formation of a National Sales Team. In 2008, GJ Walley moved to Octapharma as the Western Area Sales Director. In this role, they were responsible for driving Octagam (PID) and wilate (vWD) sales to specialty pharmacies, physician offices, hospitals, and specialty distributors. George J (GJ) then moved to National Cornerstone in 2011 as the Corporate Marketing, Market Access Director. In 2014, GJ Walley joined Matrix Health Group, A BioMatrix Company as the Sales Director for Immune Deficiencies, Myasthenia Gravis, and Autoimmune. George J (GJ)'s responsibilities included branding Hemophilia Care and Alpha-1Care as a subspecialty unit for Specialty Pharmacy contracting. In 2016, GJ Walley moved to H.D. Smith as the Sales Director. Here, they were responsible for recruiting/training/managing a Sales/Customer Service team and launching sales/analytics/CS initiatives for Medical Devices/DME/Diabetic Consumables. In 2019, GJ Walley became the Principal of HHC Specialty LLC. In 2020, they joined Masimo as the Western U.S. Sales Director with the goal of leading the sales/customer service/reimbursement effort for the first evidence-based, non-surgical device cleared by the FDA for opioid use disorder (OUD). Most recently, in 2022, GJ Walley joined Veta Health as the Regional Vice President, West. In this role, they are working to change the healthcare delivery paradigm with a remote-first care model.

GJ Walley holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from Bethany College, and studied Economics at the Virginia Military Institute.
