Stephane Maddens

Stephane Maddens has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2001, they worked as a Cell Biology Scientist at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where they led research programs in inflammation and immunity control. Stephane then joined EFS in 2004 as the Head of Cell and Tissue Therapy laboratory, overseeing the main public cord blood bank in France. In 2008, Stephane worked at the Institut Paoli Calmettes as a Project Leader for the Cord Blank Banking program, although the project did not receive funding. Stephane also pursued an MBA Change and Innovation (Full Time) from IAE Aix en Provence in 2008. In 2009, they became an Entrepreneur and CEO at Vetbiobank. At Vetbiobank, they managed the company and was responsible for its entrepreneurship activities.

Stephane Maddens has a diverse education history. In 1992, they began their studies at Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III, focusing on oncology and cell therapy. Stephane earned a PharmD and MSc in this field, completing their studies in 2001. Following this, they pursued a PhD in oncohematology, biochemistry, and cell biology at the same university from 1999 to 2001. Later, in 2008, Maddens attended IAE FRANCE - Écoles Universitaires de Management, where they obtained an MBA specializing in leading change in organizations, completing their studies in 2009.
