Rachel Rubino

Rachel Rubino is a seasoned veterinarian with extensive experience in both clinical and research settings. Currently serving as a Veterinarian at Vetco Clinics since June 2023, Rachel also holds the position of Attending Veterinarian and Director of Laboratory Animal Resources at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory since January 2017. Additionally, Rachel has been a member of the Board of Directors for Americans for Medical Progress since September 2018 and previously worked as a Veterinarian at ShotVet from October 2021 to June 2023. Rachel's involvement with AALAS includes serving on the National Meeting Program Committee, progressing from Vice Chair in 2020 to Chair in 2021. Rachel's prior experience includes over a decade at Boehringer Ingelheim in various roles, ultimately serving as Senior Veterinary Research Scientist. Rachel holds an MS in Comparative Medicine from the University of Missouri-Columbia, a DVM from the University of California, Davis, an MLAS from Drexel University, and a BS in Animal Sciences from Cornell University.
